Barking & Dangenham College works with Sev Necati Training


Learners at the Barking and Dagenham College have been finding out how to keep themselves and their belongings safe around College and on the street, whilst socialising and where they live.  They were educated on how gangs work and why it is important to avoid becoming part of that culture, even under peer pressure.

Imperial College London works with Sev Necati Training


Sev Necati worked in partnership with Imperial College to deliver taster talks and personal safety sessions to their learners, over safer learner week.  The sessions were short slots in a talk on personal safety and practical. Learners were able to ask questions on the subject and practise techniques in self-defence.

Leyton Orient works with Sev Necati Training


Sev Necati worked in partnership with Leyton Orient through the Kickz programme to deliver several training programmes too young people.

Leyton Orient s Community Sports programme Kickz allows young people to play football.  It aims to break down the barriers between young people and the police, reducing crime and anti-social behaviour, as well as getting them to confront issues such as, gang related issues and the dangers of carrying guns and knives.

Sev’s training focuses on discussions and practical exercises the young people can get involved with.  The skills taught are life changing.

Sev Necati Training works in Partnership with Young Hackney & Gainsborough Primary School

Sev Necati worked in partnership with Young Hackney and Gainsborough Primary School, to deliver several sessions through their transition programme.  The programme was aimed at reducing the fear of crime and increase their confidence and self-esteem when leaving primary school and going into secondary.


100 % of the children that participated on the programme said they enjoyed the session with many of them saying they wanted more.  Children's safety is so important, they should be prepared for what may be in store for them as they get to the crucial age of leaving primary.  The children took part in discussions, as well as practical exercises and role plays.

Sev delivers real life training programmes to some of the most hard to reach and diverse communities.





Sev Necati Training is the winner of of Best Business in Diversity, two-years in a row 


Young Hackney is a new service for all 11 – 19 year old's in the borough. It gives young people the opportunity to enjoy their youth and supports their transition to independent and successful adulthood. The service brings together many of the functions of the former Youth Service, Youth Support Team and Youth Offending Team.

Sev Necati Training works in partnership with Children & Young People's Services


Sev Necati worked in partnership with Children & Young Peoples Service’s to deliver awareness and avoidance training to their staff and management.

The training delivered to staff and management included teaching them to be aware, evaluate and diffuse situations. It provided a forum where they were able to ask questions about their own personal fears they may have inside of the workplace.

They took part practical examples where what they had learnt in theory they could see and use in reality, in the workplace.

Sev Necati Training works in partnership with The Learning Trust in charge of Education for Hackney


Sev Necati worked with a group of adults over adult learners' week as part of the partnership work that she carries out. The adults were taught how to stay safe on the street, as well as discussion based and practical exercises in personal safety and self-defence.

Sev Necati Training works in partnership with HackneyHomes and Rising Tide

Sev Necati Training works in partnership with The Home Office & Minik Kardes


Sev Necati worked in partnership with Minik Kardes, in partnership with the Home Office around "Communities against Guns Gangs & Knives" to deliver a training programme to young girls and boys to help reduce crime and violence against them.


“As part of our Gangs/Guns/Knife crime and violence Project funded by the Home Office, Sev Necati delivered a four hour Personal Safety Workshop for young people aged 10 to 18.  


We had large group of 19 youngsters in a wide range of age group and we were amazed by the fact that Sev was able to keep them focused, interested and engaged for the duration of the whole session.  


The young people thoroughly enjoyed the practical self defence exercises, role play scenarios, discussions about keeping safe and information about organisation’s where they could go for help. This is clearly evident in their verbal feedback and in the evaluation forms they completed at the end of the session.

We are looking forward to working with Sev Necati again to deliver Personal Safety Workshop for young people.”

The Metropolitan Police and Gangs Unit in Hackney work with Sev Necati Training

Sev Necati Training working in partnership with The Metropolitan Police and Gangs Unit in Hackney to deliver "Personal Safety" training courses to young people aged between 10-25.


Sev worked in partnership with Hackney Marsh Partnership and the Peabody Trust. The sessions were delivered to inner city estates targeting young people at risk of exclusion, anti-social behaviour and at risk from gang activity.



“I felt the sessions were handled well with sometimes large groups of young people who can be difficult to manage as a group. With the staff supporting the sessions it was compact with theoretical and physical challenges for participants. I felt Sev delivered a positive session that was informative and interactive for all the young people involved. The sessions came at a time when young people were on alert for their personal safety with increased anti-social behaviour in our area.”

The young people were from a variety of backgrounds and ethnicities, with both females and males participating in the sessions. The sessions were a combination of talk and practical in personal safety. Teaching young people how to be safe on the street, street awareness and practical techniques in conflict management. Techniques also included knife work.

Arsenal ITC and The Home Office work with Sev Necati Training

Sev Necati worked in partnership with Arsenal in the Community, in partnership with the Home Office around “"Communities against Guns Gangs & Knives" to deliver a training programme to young girls to help reduce crime and violence against them.

Sev delivered a "Personal Safety" programme to our young girls aged between 13-15. The sessions combined talking and practical exercises in personal safety. Teaching young people how to be safe on the street, street awareness and practical techniques.

Sev Necati Training works with the University of East London (UEL)

Sev Necati worked in partnership with University of East London (UEL) to deliver awareness and avoidance training to their staff and management.






The training delivered to staff and management included teaching them to be aware, evaluate and diffuse situations. It provided a forum where they were able to ask questions about their own personal fears they may have in and outside of the workplace. They took part in a practical where what they had learnt in theory they could see and use in reality.

Sev worked with the staff and management at the new SportsDock. On March 12th SportsDock will open its doors to UEL students, staff and the local community. A £21 million state-of-the-art sports facility.

Arsenal, Petchey Academy in Hackney and The Home Office work with Sev Necati Training

Sev Necati worked in partnership with Arsenal in the Community and Petchey Academy in Hackney, in partnership with the Home Office around “"Communities against Guns Gangs & Knives" to deliver two training programme to young people to reduce the fear of crime and violence.


Sev delivered a "Personal Safety" programme to our young male pupils aged between 13-15. The sessions combined talking and practical exercises in personal safety. Teaching young people how to be safe on the street, street awareness and practical techniques in conflict resolution. Techniques also included knife work.

City Lit works with Sev Necati Training

Sev Necati worked in partnership with City Lit to deliver awareness and avoidance training to their staff and lone workers.

This incident also had a very big impact on my life as I need to do a lot of walking for my job and most of the time I am on my own , the fear of feeling so vulnerable was almost too much to bear , however after doing the training with Sev I now feel more confidence to walk outside alone and this is due to me being aware of how to protect myself and how to deal with potential difficult situations. Imperial College London works with Sev Necati Training

Sev Necati worked in partnership with Imperial College to deliver taster talks and personal safety sessions to their learners, over safer learner week.  Apart from the food eating, students rated the self-defence workshop as the number one activity they most enjoyed, from five other workshops that were also delivered on the day.

The sessions were short slots in a talk on personal safety and practical. Learners were able to ask questions on the subject and practise techniques in self-defence.



“Sev worked at a pilot event that Commercial Services hosted for New students at Imperial College London. The event provided students with a number of different workshops to enhance their knowledge and skills of happy Living as a student in London. Sev delivered short burst workshops to groups of students, encouraging them to think about their general awareness and safety when out and about the streets of London and how to protect themselves practically if ever they were to be approached. This session really helped the International students to understand the reason behind being aware but also enabled them to build on their confidence of physically protecting themselves."
