Sev Necati worked in
partnership with Imperial College to deliver taster talks and personal safety
sessions to their learners, over safer learner week. The sessions were short slots in a talk on
personal safety and practical. Learners were able to ask questions on the
subject and practise techniques in self-defence.
"Sev was great with the new students. Her enthusiasm for the message she
is trying to get across is infectious. A lot of our students are new to London
and don’t know what to expect. Sev’s class gives them a good heads up, gets
them to think about their actions and offers some useful techniques to protect
themselves. Although the message is a serious one the class is fun and
interactive."
