Tower Hamlets works with Sev Necati Training

Sev Necati Training working in partnership with Tower Hamlets summer university to deliver "Personal Safety" training courses to young people aged between 14-25 from across borough.




The training helped the young people, to feel safer on the streets. Learn awareness and avoidance skills, plus techniques in self-defence. It improved the fitness and self-confidence of the young people that participated.



With the help of the Peer Motivators, the young people felt welcomed and had a positive experience.

It made the summer for these young people to be one of the most memorable ever!



They gained new skills, made new friends and were inspired and motivated.

Young people can gain confidence through the sessions. They are empowering for young people. It assists young people to become more aware and assertive in conflict.
