Sev Necati worked in
partnership with The Welcome People to deliver awareness and avoidance training
to their street ambassadors.
Staff learned to
become more aware, evaluate and diffuse situations that they may come across
whilst working alone, on the street and inside a shop, in one of the busiest
and most prestige places in London, the West End!
Staff can find
themselves working late / early hours, in very busy places, in addition to
working with vulnerable groups and environments that may make them exposed to
conflict. Staff were able to ask
questions about their own personal fears they may have in and outside of the
workplace. They took part in a practical
exercises where what they had learnt in theory they could see and use in
reality.
