The Metropolitan Police & Clissold Park School: The Pupil Referral Unit work with Sev Necati Training

Sev Necati worked in partnership with The Metropolitan Police and the PRU, to deliver two training programmes to young people to reduce the fear of crime and violence and improve their overall quality of life.

Sev delivered a "Personal Safety" programme to our young female and male pupils aged between 7-15.  The sessions combined talking and practical exercises in personal safety. Teaching young people how to be safe on the street, in their communities, street awareness whilst travelling and practical techniques in conflict resolution.

"I think today’s session on Personal Safety, was excellent.  The kids really enjoyed it, and so did the adults in the room.  I think this should be taught in every school in London and elsewhere.  I only wish the session was longer.”  Janet Mattis PRU

"Informative and relevant.  Pupils engaged and motivated.  Realistic self-defence advice.  Practical responses to real-life situations.  Good legal advice regarding stop and search.  Passionate and motivated teaching.”  Rob Shaw PRU

“I enjoyed the self-defence.”
 “I enjoyed the role playing.”
"The session was very good and it was about what young people can relate to because it affects them.  The young people took part and were engaged.  They seemed to enjoy it and were really taking in the tactics taught.”  PRU
