Barking & Dangenham College works with Sev Necati Training

Learners at the Barking and Dagenham College have been finding out how to keep themselves and their belongings safe around College and on the street, whilst socialising and where they live.  They were educated on how gangs work and why it is important to avoid becoming part of that culture, even under peer pressure.

“This was an informative workshop that held the attention of our learners throughout. Sev has a good understanding of relating to young people and offering practical easy to understand advice on personal safety. I would recommend this workshop to other Schools and Colleges.”

Imperial College London works with Sev Necati Training

Sev Necati worked in partnership with Imperial College to deliver taster talks and personal safety sessions to their learners, over safer learner week.  The sessions were short slots in a talk on personal safety and practical. Learners were able to ask questions on the subject and practise techniques in self-defence.

"Sev was great with the new students. Her enthusiasm for the message she is trying to get across is infectious. A lot of our students are new to London and don’t know what to expect. Sev’s class gives them a good heads up, gets them to think about their actions and offers some useful techniques to protect themselves. Although the message is a serious one the class is fun and interactive."
Anthony Hennelly, Sports Development Officer
